Jackson elected 2012 UCSA President

Law student Erin Jackson has been elected 2012 UCSA president in a decisive win, taking 46% of the vote - almost 500 votes ahead of her nearest rival.

Also enjoying electoral success were Jackson's running mates Todd Rabbitt and Thomas Horrocks, who will assume the positions of vice-president and finance officer respectively.

The elections, which took place online last Thursday and Friday, saw approximately 19% of eligible voters participate, slightly down from last year's numbers.
