UCSA Elections

It's important that you ensure the right people make it through – and the only way to do that is by voting.

It’s that time of year again, where you get to choose who will represent you next year on the UCSA Executive. They'll be the ones ensuring the University hears a student voice on all matters academic; they'll be the ones ensuring good times for you on campus with events and club support; they'll be the ones ensuring support will be there when you need it. They'll be the ones guiding the direction of your students' association through 2012 and beyond.

So it's important that you ensure the right people make it through – and the only way to do that is by voting.

HOW TO VOTE

Online

You'll be emailed a link to your student email address on Thursday containing a link to an online voting form, along with a unique PIN. A link is also be available on the UCSA website.

In Person

For those that need assistance with the online voting process, a physical voting location with laptops and a helper will be present on Level 2 of the Central Library, near the Restricted Loans section. The station will operate from 11am to 2pm both days.

VOTE FOR

ONE CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT.
ONE CANDIDATE FOR VICE-PRESIDENT.
ONE CANDIDATE FOR FINANCE OFFICER.
NINE CANDIDATES FOR GENERAL EXECUTIVE POSITIONS.

RESULTS

Results will be announced 7:30pm, Friday August 12th.

A NOTE FROM CANTA...

Exec candidate blurbs have been printed as received, without any editing or corrections, short of standardising fonts and removing line breaks for space.

Candidates are presented in alphabetical order by surname.

Where a candidate is running for more than one position, they have been listed under only one of those positions, whichever is deemed more senior (e.g. if running for Vice President and General Executive, their blurb appears only under the Vice President's section).
