Alison Grant (also running for General Executive)

What kind of UCSA are we running if the students – the most important part of the organisation and this university – are being pushed aside and left out of decisions that matter to them? It is a STUDENT UNION, not a corporate union.

I want to get students back into this organisation. The earthquake shouldn't hinder the UCSA's progress; it should give the organisation an amazing opportunity to make the students feel at home in the university. We need to cater more to the students needs; cafeterias employed with students selling cheaper food and drinks, more free gigs on campus, and most importantly – a place to drink! It is within our rights as students to have an affordable place for a casual beer on campus. We need to take back our UCSA from the hands of the corporations, otherwise food prices will just keep on climbing.

Alongside my running mates, Andy Stratton and Jebs O'Rourke, we will bring the USCA back to the way it was – back to providing the perfect student lifestyle with effective academic services, affordable (and more free) activities and continuing student support.

Andrew "Sheep" Mills (also running for General Executive)

Yes, I have a nickname, yes, it relates to a small wooly mammal that is often the butt of fornication jokes (see what I did there?), and yes, I am partial to a good spot of grass in the sunshine.

What you can't take from my nickname is that I am running for Vice President of the UCSA for 2012. I've been here FAR too long (will be 5 years, hopefully I'll graduate someday), so I feel this gives me a good idea of what's what, who's who, and where the best spots of grass are. This also gives me a pretty good idea of what needs work and how I should go about doing it.

Next year I'll just be dominating my final year project in engineering, leaving me plenty of time to throw at UCSA events, parties, clubs, cafes and the prices for all of the above, as well as try to get my misplaced fear of wolves under control.

For sunny spots and whisky shots*, vote Sheep for Vice!

*May or may not be real whisky, sun, spots or shots.

Todd Rabbitt

Hi, I'm Todd Rabbitt and I have the skills and experience to fulfil the role of VP best because I am committed to my student roots. I have strong leadership and organisational abilities, developed during my time on ENSOC, that I feel will be key to ensuring 2012 is a great year.

The student university experience is shaped by the opportunity to let off a bit of steam and hit the piss in good company. The clubs are an important feature of our university culture but there is room for improvement. Clubs' events have traditionally been those wicked times where you can drop that spade to that hottie in your class or generally just be a horsy rowdy individual. With town gone, clubs need more funding to ensure all students have an outlet to celebrate student life. Club events will only become bigger, better and provide a variety of events if you elect me as VP.

Alice had a great time tumbling down the Rabbitt's hole, so join me in Wonderland and vote RABBITT for VP. So, hop to it and vote for [JACKSON RABBITT HORROCKS] and look forward to a UCSA that represents you, because 2012 needs strong leadership.

Craig Whitnall (also running for General Executive)

Hello, I'm Craig Whitnall a member of the WILLIAM, WHITNALL, & AINSWORTH trio aiming to fill the position of Vice President. I've been serving on the executive alongside AINSWORTH and WILLIAM for the past year and have built an extensive knowledge of how the UCSA is run and the demands of the job.

I sit on the Academic Board, Law Facility Board, Hardship & Dental Panel as well as regular attendance at all advisory board meetings and involvement in mostly all facets of the organisation. I've fulfilled many of my promises last year, shown in bringing you unique projects such as the massive Shapeshifter gig, the regular Winter Markets, and Random Acts of Kindness creating a vibrant campus.

Vice President has the unique opportunity to be the link between the Student voice, Executive's and the President as well as having the opportunity to create innovative changes around campus, especially during the rebuilding and restructuring of the organisation, social space and retail outlets. We are passionate about innovation as well as continuity of what we have delivered this year. Your vote is a vote for experience, innovation, and wisdom beyond our years. "WILLIAM, WHITNALL, & AINSWORTH" Sortin' out the riff raff.
