Finance Officer - Vote for one candidate

Nathan Ainsworth (also running for General Executive)

Oh hey there. I'm Nathan; part of the *WILLIAM, WHITNALL, & AINSWORTH* trio. I helped deliver that ludicrous Shapeshifter gig at the start of the year, the Winter Wonderland Markets, and even those lifesaving Earthquake Aegrotats for the Semester 1 exams.

As UCSA execs we have a huge amount of proven experience helping make your University experience as exciting (and affordable) as possible. Now we may not be the most attractive trio around... far from it; but we've got the ability and drive to deliver you a UCSA that provides awesome events and sustainable food options that you actually want and can afford.

I believe you should be represented by likeminded students who, like me, know what it's like to live in a run-down flat, bike/skate to Uni in the freezing cold, and feel the deep burning humiliation as hot Law girls laugh at you when you slip on the ice on your way to your biology lecture.

When you vote today please choose experience over looks. Enjoy *WILLIAM, WHITNALL, & AINSWORTH* "sortin' out the riff-raff"

P.s. for exec please choose Michaela Latimer.

Thomas Horrocks (also running for General Executive)

Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane can be credited with saying: "It doesn't matter if you're black or white... the only color that really matters is green." I believe I am an ideal candidate to promote student financial interests and ensure the UCSA accounts are kept in the green. As an economics and law student, I am confident I have the technical skills expected of the financial officer position to ensure that your money is spent well and appropriately. As your financial officer, I will put the account in accountable. Having worked a summer at KPMG, a leading accountancy firm, I am no stranger to the often-alien world of accountancy and will ensure the UCSA is provided with sound financial services. Vote HORROCKS for your 2012 financial officer; keep the UCSA accounts in the green and vote [JACKSON RABBITT HORROCKS], because 2012 needs strong leadership.

Jebs O'Rourke (also running for General Executive)

Hey I'm Jebs, though some of you may know me as The Foundry Guy. I worked at the Foundry for some years ensuring you guys enjoyed your time at Canterbury. I'm also a commerce grad and a science student, so I've seen the UCSA from both perspectives which I believe uniquely qualifies me for this job.

I've seen the backroom dealing that goes on that has led to the $600 annual levy we all now pay, and I feel that significant decisions are being made without the opinion of you guys – those who we are representing – and I want to see that changed. I want to see the UCSA stop wasting money and spend it where it needs to be spent. I want to see all groups of students including post-grads get a say. I want to see the UCSA sticking up to the university when it gives us a raw deal.

These last few execs have progressively sold out our organisation in the interests of padding their CVs, and I want to turn that around. Do you want the cafes and The Foundry run by a bunch of Aussies? I most certainly don't.

Campbell Sinclair (also running for General Executive)

Hello my name is Campbell Sinclair. Soon I will be the UCSA Financial Officer. Trust me with your vote and I'll make sure it's put to good use. In the words of Barack Obama, "This campaign can't only be about me...It must be about what we can do together." Your voice will be projected to the board of executives. Vote Sinclair. I possess the drive to do the best that can be done as the UCSA Financial Officer for the Students of the University of Canterbury. Vote Sinclair for Financial Officer, you know you want to.
